Samsung company holds more patents in the field of technical devices wearable

Samsung topped the South Korean company more patented technology in the field of wearable devices Wearable Technology Companies List, according to the report of the Institute of Korean electronic technologies.


According to the institute, which is known for short as KETI in his report that in the period between 2003 and 2014 have been applying for more than 64 thousand patents related to technical devices wearable.

Samsung and filed more than 600 patents during the same period, occupies first place, followed by my company Philips Philips and Panasonic Panasonic who have logged more than 400 patents.

The list included companies such as LG, which got the fifth place, Microsoft, which got the 19th position, in addition to Qualcomm, which ranked 20 after Microsoft directly.
Japan ranked first in the same menu at the level of the most advanced countries to obtain patents, which exceeded the number 17813, followed by the United States to 14519, 14400 to China and then patented.
 
The institute said in his report that the patents in the field of wearable technology began increasing since 2012, where Japan is one of the more countries, thanks to the many companies that operate in this area. He added that at the level of competition between the states is limited to Japan, the United States of America, in addition to South Korea.
 
The Google Google Glass glasses, smart watches such as Samsung or Apple Gear Gear Watch Apple Watch, the most prominent examples available in the market for technical devices wearable.

The market research firm IDC predicted that the total smart devices wearable shipments for 2015 exceed the barrier of 72 million units, an annual increase of 173.3%, compared with 26.4 million units shipped last year.
